DEAR PARTNERS AND FRIENDS, CURRENTLY, THE WHOLE PLANET IS GOING THROUGH A ROUGH SPOT DUE TO THE OUTBREAK OF COVID-19

Despite such adverse conditions, railways continue to link economies, countries and businesses in a safe and sound manner, as they have always done. UTLC ERA container train services operate stably and smoothly: transit speed remains at the 1100 km per day level, trains cover the distance from China to Europe in less than 5 days. Cargo operations and making up of trains at near-border crossing points proceeds in the “business-as-usual” way, both at the Chinese and European sides. In the same spirit, our partners along the 1435 mm gauge cooperate effectively, with no disruptions in dispatching. According to our data, since the beginning of 2020 over 550 container trains have moved on the China – Europe – China route operated by UTLC ERA. Drawing on our core principles of partnership, UTLC ERA persists with the task of improving Eurasian transit freighting in order to ensure reliable and timely delivery of goods, as well as to prevent the breakdown of supply chains. Therefore, it is essential to sustain business activity and moreover take the necessary steps for further development. We are pleased to inform that starting April 2020, UTLC ERA will launch a new project concerning transit of sanctioned goods, the initiative would be effective on all our core routes. We believe for this new service to find considerable demand amongst our customers, who would benefit from new growth points and unrestrained trade flows. UTLC ERA extends sincere gratitude to all the clients and partners for unreserved cooperation and wishes good health to everyone, so we could all successfully move forward with our common Eurasian initiatives!
