Alexey Grom is appointed as the President of JSC UTLC

According to the company, the meeting of shareholders of United Transport and Logistics Company (UTLC) elected first vice-president Alexey Grom as the President of the company. Alexey Grom succeeds Petr Baskakov, head of JSC UTLC since 2014. According to the company, a brand new company's Board of Directors and the Management Board were also formed.


According to the statement of the company, "Today, the general meeting of shareholders of JSC UTLC also took place, where Alexey Grom who previously held the post of first vice-president of the company was unanimously elected as the new president of the company".
JSC UTLC was established in November 2014 by the railway administrations of Russia, Belarus, and Kazakhstan. The authorized capital of the company is 39.7 bln. roubles. Company's founders are JSC Russian Railways (the share in the registered capital is 99.84%), the National Union Belarusian Railways (0.08%) and JSC National Company Kazakhstan Temir Zholy (0.08%). The volume of transportation of the Company in 2015 amounted to 48.3 thousand TEU. In 2016, an increase of this indicator by almost 70% - up to 80 thousand TEU is planned.
